New Order for 32/63 BI Railway Stone Aggregate for the “Modernization and electrification of the Sakvice – Hustopece u Brna Railway Line” Project

In March 2019, a new owner came to HUTIRA – OMICE, s.r.o. (Omice quarry). The new 100% owner of the company is a strong and stable company HUTIRA – BRNO, s.r.o. Current owner builds on a long family tradition and long-term experience of Ivo Hutira sr. in the Omice quarry. The quarry provides stone aggregates for various applications.

Immediately after the takeover of the company by new managing directors (Ivo Hutira jr. and Pavel Kazda), massive investments were made in order to stabilize the company in crucial areas: finance, HR, machinery, and quarry facility equipment. New owners at HUTIRA – OMICE, s.r.o. intend to continue with exploitation of high-quality stone aggregates that are suitable for railway and road beds. Furthermore, they want to implement environmental-friendly and efficient exploitation of the deposit. After the exploitation, the quarry area situated in Bobrava valley is to be reclaimed as a part of “green” development project.
