The event is organized by the Caps 66 Fund of Milan Nový and the Czech Ice Hockey Association in cooperation with the company HUTIRA – BRNO, s.r.o. The event is held under the auspices of the Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno,  JUDr. Markéta Vaňková. The company HUTIRA – BRNO, s.r.o.  in cooperation with Czech Ice Hockey Association and  the Fondation Caps  66 of Milan Nový organized and supported alongside with  other partners a significant hockey match of Czech and Israeli hockey legends –  Czech hockey legends vs.  Israel Old Timers. The event was held under the auspices of the Mayor of the Statutory City of Brno JUDr. Markéta Vaňková. An important guest was also the Ambassador of Israel, J.E. Daniel Meron.

The Corporate Social Responsibility is one of  the main  pillars of  global strategy of the company HUTIRA. The aim of this event was to give a  further support to  the  development of sports activities and physical education and also  enabled the fans of   this winter sport  to look into the world of professionals.

The Israeli veteran team has started  its program in the Czech Republic in Kladno and two days later the players moved to  the Children and Youth Hall in Brno. The trio of matches was ended by the ice hockey contest with our brothers in Slovakia in Skalica.

It is no coincidence that ice hockey has become a center of interest. The owner of the company, Ivo Hutira, is not only a fan. He has played personally  the  ice hockey for many years. Among other things, he is a member  of the Fondation Caps  66 of Milan Nový – prominent Czech ice hockey legend.

This time the Czech legend team was captained Bedřich Ščerban, former world champion and  the holder of the Golden Stickin 1991 for the best Czechoslovakian  player. The team also included David Moravec, who scored a gold medal by his goal in 2001 at  the World Championship for  the Czech national team or Leo Gudas senior and others.

The purpose of this match in the center of the Moravian metropolis was not only to give attention to family values ​​and sports tradition, but also to develop international business partnerships, which is an integral part of the philosophy of this successful company, based just on family values. In addition to the opportunity to watch the ice-hockey match in a sold-out hall in Brno, the visitors also had the opportunity to win prizes thanks to the spectators’ competition, including a hockey stick signed personally by Milan Nový. Despite the fact that this year the Israeli team suffered a defeat, the atmosphere was excellent. The stadium enjoyed plentiful attendance. There were also rock fans of this undoubtedly popular winter sport who came to support their favourite hockey legends as well as whole families with children.
